After
graduating from Calcutta Medical College, Dr Banerjee came to the UK in 1969 for
further training, obtaining FRCS in 1974. He entered a radiological training scheme in 1977, and
completed DMRD in 1979 and FRCR in 1981. Dr Banerjee accepted a Consultant
Radiologist post at Tameside General Hospital, Greater Manchester in 1983 where he
became actively involved in training and publication in the field of
diagnostic radiology, and currently has an interest in academic
radiology.
