Reviews

Rating: 5 stars out of 5 The format of this book is ideal!

The clear and succinct question and answer format allows the reader to access relevant information quickly. It is fantastic to have some advice on how to present a case on ward rounds as this is a skill that many are apprehensive about. The points of inclusion in a post operative ward round are also of real benefit. I am sure that this book will prove an ideal revision aid for the aspiring student.

Rating: 5 stars out of 5 I really like the friendly, non-intimidating style of this book

I really like the friendly, non-intimidating style of this book. It really puts me at ease, and I like the basic statistics on how much to read to achieve what’s required. The checklist is fantastic! I love the unforced, comprehensive question and answer style. I think the style is brilliant and I feel like I know everything there is know, and totally prepared to go on a surgical rotation!

Rating: 5 stars out of 5 Direct and to the point

Perfect book to revise various topics. Enough detail to satisfy all and plenty of clinical knowledge excellent for the introduction to the clinical study. Questions are almost in the viva style so they answer exactly what you need to know about the topic in a succinct yet comprehensive manner. Virtually guarantees a merit. Delivered in a simple and straight forward manner that makes some difficult topics easily digestible and easy to remember. I've recomended it to all my colleagues. Definitely worth the money. Now I'm waiting for Volume 2.

Rating: 5 stars out of 5 What a great little book!

It covers all of the major subjects in vascular urology and general surgery with a clear confident and authoritative style. I enjoyed reading it. I particularly liked the layout, with 2 columns- one column for questions and the other answers. It would be easy to test yourself prior to an exam by covering the answers column.
