We hope that you’ll find using our website easy, quick and convenient. Your
privacy and security is extremely important to us. Please use the following
pages to guide you safely through our online shopping experience.
The following four features will help make your shopping experience even easier.
Home page link: The home page tab is always in the top left of
your screen. You can return to our home page by clicking on this tab.
Navigation bar: The words on the navigation bar at the top of
the screen directly under the PasTest logo are the names of the "departments"
of our online shop. Clicking on one of these names will take you to a new page
that contains all sections and products included in that area. The menu on the
left hand side of the screen gives you more refined options according to your
current career stage.
Search box: The search box is always above the navigation bar.
You can search by product or author/lecturer/speaker name, key words such as
the book title, or the ISBN code.
Your basket: Your basket will appear once you have added a
product to it. The basket sits on the right-hand side of your screen below the
navigation bar. It shows you the title and price of any product(s) you’ve put
into your basket.
Our Search engine works by checking your search term against all the product
titles and product codes currently on the website. It then shows products on
the page that may match your query.
You can search in broad terms such as books, or be more precise such as
Essential Lists for MRCP or BoF Practice Papers. A generic term such as Books
may return far too many results for you to sift through; however, if you put in
Essential Lists for MRCP, then you’ll get a much more refined result to look
at. You’ll get most precise results by searching for an author or ISBN, which
you may have obtained from one of our catalogues or from your friend/colleague.
We offer various ways for you to pay for your order: credit/debit cards, cheque,
banker’s draft or you may have a PasTest money-off voucher. You may use a
combination of a voucher and any payment card we accept to pay for your order.
We accept payment by all the major credit/debit cards except American Express.
PasTest do not charge a transaction fee for processing credit or debit cards.
When paying by cheque make your cheque payable to PasTest Limited
and complete your address details on the reverse of the cheque. Please send
your cheque together with the completed
order form to the following address if you are sending your order from
within the United Kingdom.

Health Authority funding
If you wish to book a PasTest course but require your Health Authority to pay
for it, don't worry we will make it as easy as possible for you.
In just three easy steps you can confirm your place on a PasTest course and we
will take care of the rest:

Register your interest by leaving your details with our dedicated Customer
Service Team on 01565 752000

Pass the following details on to your Trust - your name, the course
type/dates/location/price. Here you can download a Health Authority Approval form

Ask your Health Authority to confirm that they are willing to pay for the
course by passing the Heath Authority Form above to your study leave funding
department and sending back the completed form to:

OR confirmation of payment

As soon as we receive this promise to pay from your Health Authority we can
confirm your place and send out your booking pack and course information. You
won't need to do anything else.

It is your responsibility to ensure PasTest Ltd receive this confirmation.

Fax or letter from the H/A must be on letter headed paper and

be addressed to PasTest Ltd.

The Health Authority Approval form must bear a Health Authority stamp in order
to be valid.
If the letter/fax does not contain the above information, PasTest Ltd cannot
accept the booking.
| Subscriptions to Medical Student
Online Revison
|
|
PasTest operates a Medical Student Online Revision service. By subscribing to
access this facility the subscriber agrees to these terms.

Subscriptions to the PasTest Medical Student Online Revision facility will
incur a monthly fee as stated during the subscription process and in effect at
the time of subscription.
-
PasTest will notify the subscriber in advance of any increase in fees.
-
The subscriber must supply PasTest with complete and accurate payment
information. By submitting such payment information to PasTest the subscriber
warrants that he/she is entitled to use such payment information.
-
If PasTest do not receive payment authorisation or any authorisation is
subsequently cancelled, PasTest may immediately terminate or suspend access to
any services subscribed to.
-
PasTest will try to process subscriptions promptly but does not guarantee that
the services will be available by any specified time.
-
There is no specific time limit applying to use of the subscribed services on
these terms and conditions. However, PasTest reserves the right to suspend or
terminate subscription in the event of any breach of these terms and
conditions, with or without notice and without further obligation to the
subscriber.

The subscription may be cancelled by notifying PasTest in writing. Such
cancellation shall be effective 14 days from receipt of such written
notification by PasTest.
Online
Once you've found the items you wish to buy and have added them to your basket,
you can begin the checkout process by clicking on the 'Checkout' link in your
basket or at the top right of your screen.
You can go straight to checkout to pay for your goods. You will be required to
register with us (please note that this does not include your payment card
details). You’ll be asked to set up a password.
If you have already registered online with pastest.co.uk, simply enter your
email address and password when prompted during the checkout process. At
checkout, you can review and amend your order details on the Order Summary
page.
When you're ready to complete your order, click the ’place order now’ button and
wait for an online receipt. You will also be sent a confirmation email shortly
after placing your order.

Shopping with pastest.co.uk is safe and secure.
We use Internet standard encryption technology to protect your personal
information including credit or debit card number, name and address. This
process is known as SSL (secure sockets layer). To check that you are in a
secure area of our site look at the bottom of your browser to see a closed
padlock or an unbroken key. You can tell whether a page is secure as 'https'
will replace the 'http' at the front of the www.pastest.co.uk
in your browser address window.
Privacy
Your privacy is of the highest importance to us, and we promise never to sell
your personal details to any third parties.
When you make a purchase from our website, we collect certain personal
information from you (for example: your name, email address, delivery address,
telephone number, etc). All such information is held on secure servers. Your
credit/debit card details are used only for a single transaction. We do not
store your credit/debit card details. PasTest complies fully with all
applicable Data Protection and consumer legislation, and will treat all your
personal information as fully confidential (although we reserve the right to
disclose this information in the circumstances set out below).
Our online ordering system uses a cookie to record a unique reference on your
computer so that we can keep track of your order as you use the system. This
cookie, that is saved to your system, is only valid for a single visit and each
new visit will result in a new cookie overwriting any previous Cookies that
were generated on previous visits to our site. If your internet browser is set
to reject Cookies or if your network firewall won't allow them, unfortunately
you will not be able to use our online store. Please refer to your internet

Use of Online Subscriptions
Your PasTest Online subscription, username and password are personal and non
transferable and must be kept confidential and used only by you for the
duration of your subscription or registration period. We reserve the right to
terminate your subscription and/or take further action should we find you in
breach of this clause.
Description of products
Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out
additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without
limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times,
guarantees, and after-sales service.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and
prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the
relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the
Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product
Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always
reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. We cannot
confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted in accordance with
our order acceptance policy.

Contract creation and electronic contracting
The technical steps required to create the contract (order acceptance policy)
between you and PasTest Ltd are as follows:

You place the order for your products on the Website by pressing the confirm
order button at the end of the checkout process.

Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy our Product(s)

We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you
have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from
PasTest Limited.
- As your product is shipped from our warehouse we will send
you a despatch confirmation email.

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and PasTest Ltd
will take place on the despatch to you of the Products ordered unless we have
notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in
accordance with the instructions in Change or cancel your order.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.

All disputes arising from this contract shall be governed by English law and

Payment
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are
correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost
of your order is the price of the Products ordered plus delivery charges as set
out in the Delivery section of this Website. Payment can be made by any of the
methods specified in the Payment section of this Website and payment will be
debited and cleared from your account as set out in the Payment section of this
Website.
You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation
by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not,
for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or
non-delivery.
Refusal of transaction
We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this Website at any time
and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website. We may refuse
to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time
at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by

By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit

Orders for book received before 4:00pm on working days are despatched on the
same day. Orders received after 4:00pm are dispatched on the next working day,
subject to credit card processing.
We deliver via a distributor to UK addresses using Royal Mail. Your order should
arrive in 2 working days. For international adresses our distributor uses
Pharos Worldwide Mail. Deleveries should arrive within 2 weeks of despatch but
could take up to 6 weeks in some instances to some destinations.
For orders that include pre-order items, the available items will be delivered
as normal and pre-order items will be delivered as soon as they become
available. You will not incur extra delivery charges for pre-order items.

When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate charge will be
added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before
submitting your order. If you add additional items, please double check the
charge by clicking “Re-calculate”. If you have any questions or concerns about
delivery and availability then please don't hesitate to

Order change or cancellation
If you have not received your confirmation of despatch e-mail notifying you that
your order has been processed and despatched then you may cancel your order by
emailing us at cancellations@pastest.co.uk
(please include your Order Reference Number and full details of your order) or
contact us on +44 (0)1565 752000 (please have your order reference number and
delivery details to hand). Please note that you cannot cancel your order once
it has been despatched. If you wish to cancel an order that has already been
despatched you will need to return the item(s) to us for a refund in accordance
with our Return Policy (see below).
We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from PasTest
Ltd. We pride ourselves on offering the highest quality products and services.
However if, for any reason you decide not to keep your books, you can return
them to us within 14 days of the delivery provided the books are unused and in
their original condition and accompanied by all original sales documentation.
To return the books please follow the instructions in the delivery
documentation.
Once your returned books are received, you will receive notification regarding
your return or exchange request within 2 working days. We will refund the full
purchase price of the product if the book(s) comply with the description in the
paragraph above. Please note that refunds including postage will only be given
if the return is a result of our error (i.e. wrong, faulty or damaged product)
but not when a product is simply unwanted. If we find that the product has not
been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to
refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price
from the refund amount. We do not charge for returns.
If you are returning products paid for on your credit or debit card, any refund
will be made directly to your card account.

to attend the course you have booked, we will be happy to transfer your booking
to another course or give you a refund. There will be no charge for

* For MRCP 1, 5-day courses, access to PasTest online revision from the time of
booking until the date of the next exam is provided with the course. In the
event of a course cancellation or transfer an additional charge for this
provision in line with the costs of an equivalent online subscription may be
made at the discretion of the Sales and Marketing Manager in the event that
this product has been used. A bundle of books is also provided with this
course, in the event of cancellation, a charge may be made for these books of
the current RRP at the discretion of the Sales & Marketing Manager.
Alternatively, the books can be returned to the company providing they are
unused and in a brand new, resalable condition. Should you choose to return the
books, the course refund will be given on receipt of the resalable books.
Note:

No transfers or cancellation can be made once the course has started.

If we cancel the course for any reason, we will offer you the choice of a
transfer to alternative dates and/or location as available or give you a full
refund. We will not cover any travel costs incurred.

Whether you choose to transfer or cancel a course or we cancel a course,
Pastest Ltd will not be liable for any cost incurred by you in arranging travel

The fee includes refreshments, lunch and relevant conference documentation. A
confirmation communication and invoice will be emailed or posted to you upon
receipt of your booking. Substitution of delegates is acceptable up to the
start of the conference and notification of substitution should be in writing

Please note we are committed to continually improving our conferences. We
therefore reserve the right to make changes to the venue, content and speakers
etc. On such occasions we will provide as much advance notice as possible.
For the benefit of our customers, we operate a deferred payment scheme (the
"Scheme") which is available through the PasTest Customer service team
contactable on 01565 752000. The Scheme is designed to assist customers by
deferring part payment of the course fee.
The Scheme is offered at our absolute discretion and may be withdrawn without
notice at any time. The Scheme is only available on written (non-clinical) and
MRCP 2 PACES courses with a course fee of more than £200. The Scheme is only
available on receipt of a minimum £100 deposit paid by debit or credit card
with the remaining balance then being deferred to a specified date no later
than 10 business days prior to the course commencement date. On such date the
remaining balance will be deducted from the same card as was used to pay the
deposit.
From time to time and at our absolute discretion, we may offer additional
discounted products and/or promotions for the benefit of our customers. These
will continue to be available to customers utilising the Scheme subject to the
following variation to the Course Cancellation charges (detailed above). In the
event that a course booking is made (with a deposit paid and the balance
deferred under the terms of the Scheme) and subsequently cancelled, the usual
cancellation charges will apply (as detailed above) save for any additional
discounts and/or promotions obtained by the customer as a result of the said
booking shall be charged for at full value and shall be deducted from any
deposit paid in respect of the course booking with only the balance then
remaining refundable to the customer.

What do I get when I book a course?
You will get a letter of confirmation, receipt, venue details and a list of
accommodation near the venue via email. If the venue is not confirmed when
booking, a map and venue details will be e-mailed as soon as confirmed.
Pre-course material will be available online following your booking.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes, you will get this via email when you book. Please keep this safe as you
may need it for reimbursement or tax purposes.
Will I receive Pre-Course Material?
All the course attendees - apart from the Clinical's, OSCE's and MRCP Part 2
Manchester - receive pre-course material with their initial booking. The
answers will be provided in the course binder which you will receive at
registration on the first day.
When do I receive my timetable?
The course time table is available online at the time of booking, In the even
that some course timetable is missing, it will be emailed to you before the
course start date.
Do I receive any supporting course material?
Your course material will be handed out at registration on the first day of the
course. You may be given extra handouts throughout the course.
I need a Certificate of Attendance, how do I obtain one?
You will receive a Certificate of Attendance on the last day of the course.
Do you arrange accommodation?
No, however you will receive a list of possible accommodation as part of the
booking pack. You will have to book and pay for the accommodation yourself.

Where is the venue for the course?
Venue details are sent out with your booking pack, alternately if you
click on the information button on the specified course on the web site, you
can see links to the map and directions to the venue which you can print out if
necessary.

What do I do if my Health Authority will pay for me?
Go to the Payment Options and you will find a section for
Health Authorities. Here you can download a Health Authority Approval form
As soon as your Health Authority completes and stamps the form and has faxed it
back to PasTest, we can book and confirm your place on a course.

What is a pre-ordered book?
Titles that are not yet published are available to pre-order. If you

How long does an overseas book order take to be delivered?
Books are dispatched the same day byPharos Worldwide Mail. They should
arrive to most destinations within 2 weeks. However, in some instances to some
