PasTest Online’s Five Learning Techniques

PasTest Online Revision has five different modules to aid learning. Designed to support your revision needs from the start of your revision through to the end of your exam; we use a unique database containing thousands of questions covering all of the major specialty areas as well as complete sets of mock exam papers based on themes from past exams.

Random Questions
Work through every single question with instant answers and explanations. Use random questions to build knowledge and assess your strengths and weaknesses for targeted revision.

Question Bank
Want to work through every single question covered in a particular specialty? Use the question bank to focus your revision on your weak areas. Refine your revision by selecting questions by question type and/or difficulty rating.

Timed Test
Test your ability to answer questions against the clock. Take unlimited mini exams from 20 minutes to 120 minutes. Use timed tests to develop your exam strategy and exam technique.

Mock Exam
Have you been through all the questions? Are you clear on your exam strategy and technique? If your answer to these questions is 'yes' then you are ready to take mock exams. The mock exams function will create you a new test each time. This exam will feature a similar spread of questions per specialty as you will encounter in a real exam. We recommend that you complete your mock exam in one sitting, to make the experience as close to the exam as possible.

Fixed Exams
The fixed exam function allows you to benchmark your performance against a set selection of exam questions. You can work through an exam, get your score, then at a later date re-visit the same exam paper and view your performance improvement. As with the rest of the database these questions are based on themes from past exams.

We suggest that you work through all the specialties within random questions 3-4 months prior to your exam. Once you are familiar with the entire syllabus, you can move on to timed tests. Here your aim should be to develop your exam strategy and technique. You should reach this stage at least two months before the exam. Armed with your exam strategy and techniques you are ready to take mock exams and fixed exams. You should aim to be at this stage at least four weeks before your exam.

My Performance
Once you start to test yourself, a record will be kept of your performance so that you can see how well you are doing. As you do more tests, you will be able to see how you are improving and compare yourself with other candidates answering the same questions.
